Joshua Olivas, Field Supervisor

Joshua Olivas is a Teton Valley native with a passion for construction and working with people. He began his career in the industry as a construction laborer in Driggs, Idaho when he was 15 years old. After being promoted from laborer to framer at his previous company, his interest in the field grew as did his talents. He has expertise in framing, finish carpentry, and general labor. As our youngest field supervisor, Josh joined New West in August of 2016 as the lead finish carpenter until he was promoted to field supervisor in April of 2017. Josh has proven to be such an invaluable part of the New West team because of his natural ability to manage with efficiency and work with determination. His passion for building is apparent in the work he produces and the consistently high morale of his team. When he’s not at work he loves to spend time with his wife and three kids, and he enjoys riding bikes and going to the shooting range.
