Robert Huggins

Robert’s primary responsibilities include the oversight of a diversified portfolio consisting of over 15 contracting and construction related companies in and around Jackson Hole. He focuses on land development, strategic partnerships, and future projects, as well as improving operational efficiencies and recruiting new talent. The majority of Robert’s career has been in the corporate world working for home builders and in private equity. This in-depth and diverse background gave him the tools and experience to do what he loves at New West.

Robert had an early interest in home building. His grandfather was a builder and an incredible carpenter. His grandparents lived nearby and as a child, Robert would often help his grandfather on various projects. In Robert’s teenage years, he worked for a private home builder installing directional bootleg signs and that job really solidified his interest in the home building industry– he knew that’s what he wanted to do.

He enjoys managing people and getting to know his clients. A home is very personal, and building one can also be an emotional experience– he finds it incredibly satisfying helping clients to understand their wants and needs and realize that vision with a new place to call home.

Robert and his amazing partner in crime Shawn moved here from the San Francisco Bay Area in 2015 drawn by the quality of life. They love spending time with their two young boys, Harrison and Hudson. Their two Golden Retrievers Max and Ruby not surprisingly enjoy any and all water activities. When not working, Robert is focused on his family and enjoying all of the year round activities in the area.
