Tyson Slater

Partner & President

Tyson and moved to Jackson in 2012 from Colorado. Like many before him, he came for the incredible mountains and rivers, but he has really made his mark as the man responsible for construction operations at New West. Tyson’s experience is vast and varied– he has worked as a steel erector in Southern Colorado and a high end trim carpenter in Steamboat Springs. He excels at organizing teams and maximizing productivity and ensuring the highest quality product. He leads a large team and works tirelessly to ensure the overall performance of the company and client satisfaction.

Tyson enjoys seeing the progress of his work and a tangible, lasting result. The best part of his job is seeing people enjoy the homes and spaces the New West team creates.

Gracie, his 4 year old Golden Retriever loves accompanying him on site, but isn’t an office dog. Tyson and his wife Megan love spending time with their two year old daughter Sloane.
