Hospitality projects are measured against an opening date and the cost of staying closed, which shapes everything about how we run them. We sequence trades around the day you want to be trading, coordinate kitchen and bar equipment so it arrives when the space is ready to receive it, and work through health and fire approvals alongside the build rather than after it. Much of our hospitality work has involved remodeling venues that were already established, which brings constraints that an empty shell does not.

Building for Operators
What We Build

Restaurants and Bars
Interior remodels and full build-outs for new and established venues, covering commercial kitchens, bar systems, and front of house.

Breweries and Taprooms
Production and hospitality space in one building, coordinated around brewing equipment, drainage, and the mechanical work that comes with it.

Cafes and Bakeries
Smaller format hospitality where kitchen layout and customer flow both have to work within a tight footprint.
Our Process
How We Work
Concept and Feasibility
We walk the space with you, look at the concept and the date you want to be trading, and give an honest view of what is achievable and what it will cost.
Preconstruction and Permitting
Health, fire, and building approvals are coordinated alongside equipment procurement and trade scheduling, all mapped backwards from your opening.
Build and Fit-Out
Site management runs tight through construction and fit-out, with equipment installation sequenced so nothing sits waiting for the space to catch up.
Handover and Opening
Final inspections, punch list, and a handover timed so the space is yours before you need to train staff and open the doors.

Where We Build
New West Building Company offers hospitality construction across all five of our markets, from our base in Jackson to our offices in Alpine, Driggs, Park City, and New England. Our hospitality work to date has been concentrated in Teton County and Park City, where resort town pressures like compressed shoulder season build windows and competing for trades in a busy market are the norm rather than the exception.

Why Us
The New West Difference
Operators judge a contractor on whether the venue opened when it was supposed to, and that date rarely moves once it is set. New West Building Company has been remodeling and building hospitality spaces since 2002 across Wyoming, Idaho, Utah, and New England, working with owners who need someone who understands health code, equipment lead times, and what a delayed opening actually costs.
Construction is art and craft, but efficiently managing the project is a science. We hold ourselves and every subcontractor and partner we work with to the highest standard, delivering on time and at a level of quality that precedes our reputation. Every client gets on-demand access to schedule, budget, change orders, and finish selections through Procore, so you are never waiting on a phone call to find out where things stand.

Working backwards from the opening is how we build the schedule on almost every hospitality project. We sequence the trades accordingly and flag early if anything threatens the date, rather than telling you about it at the end.
Commercial kitchens carry mechanical, drainage, ventilation, and health code requirements that all need coordinating well before installation begins. We work directly with your equipment supplier so the space is ready when the equipment arrives.
Phased work is sometimes possible where areas can be sealed off from customers, though a full kitchen or bar replacement usually needs a closure. We will tell you honestly which applies to your project before you commit to anything.
Most projects run between four and nine months depending on whether it is a shell fit-out or a working venue being reworked, how much mechanical work is involved, and local permitting timelines. Equipment lead times are frequently the longest item on the schedule, which is why procurement starts early.
We offer hospitality construction across Jackson WY, Alpine WY, Driggs ID, Park City UT, and New England. Most of our completed hospitality projects are in Jackson, Wilson, and Park City, and we take this work on in any of our markets.
